Hi, I’m alannah.
Greetings! I'm Alannah, the founder of Everfae Therapies, and I hold accreditation as a social worker from the AASW. My dedication lies in the realms of sex and intimacy, relationships, trauma-informed practice, and advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities. I am committed to assisting others in forging the lives they aspire to lead, even in the face of societal barriers.
As a sex and relationship therapist, I am committed to creating a safe and affirming space for individuals of all gender identities, relationship structures, and sexual orientations. I proudly support the LGBTQIA+ community, welcome polyamorous relationships, and champion the experiences of people of colour. My practice is rooted in inclusivity, empathy, and respect, aiming to provide therapeutic support that is affirming and understanding of diverse identities and backgrounds. Together, we can explore your unique journey and foster a sense of empowerment and acceptance in your relationships and intimate experiences.
With substantial professional experience and personal insights, I've had the honor of contributing to the discourse through my article, 'What Is the Problem With Sexual Intimacy Following Intimate Partner Violence in the DSM-5?' I have also presented at noteworthy events such as the ANZSWWER symposium in 2018 and Carol Bacchi’s symposium in 2022.
Beyond my professional pursuits, you'll find me immersed in singing, reading, or enjoying quality time with my feline companions. My core belief centers around advocating for equity for all. I am on a mission to eradicate the stigma surrounding trauma, disability, and sexuality, striving to empower those affected to cultivate healthy intimate relationships on their terms.
Let's connect and explore the collaborative journey toward achieving your goals. Feel free to reach out to me at everfaeinfo@gmail.com or on 0403 913 997.
